This leachate is typically rich in physicochemical pollutants, including high levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, ammonia nitrogen, and heavy metals, along with the presence of hazardous organic compounds. It is also characterized by a dark color and foul odor.
